Unbelievable As Liverpool Threw Away A 3 Zero Lead to Blow Their Chances Of A Premiership Trophy In 24 years.

The Reds took the lead through Joe Allen in the first half when the diminutive midfielder was left unmarked at a corner, with Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez striking once each in the second to give Brendan Rodgers's side a clear advantage.

But the visitors let their lead slip, with first Damien Delaney hitting a deflected shot past Simon Mignolet and then Dwight Gayle notching another shortly afterwards.

Liverpool, shellshocked, were on the back foot and had a disastrous result confirmed just before the end of normal time when Gayle picked up Glenn Murray's chested pass and finished coolly.

Liverpool players couldn't hold back their tears at the endof the match, most notably Luiz Suarez. Personally I wished Liverpool would lift the Premiership title even as a Man United fan. Now their hopes and dreams I think is 0.9 id to 99.1.
