Rihanna and Drake may not see each other as much as they’d like, but that doesn’t mean that their relationship is over! In fact, Drake calls Rihanna ‘all the time’ when they’re not together, HollywoodLife.com reports.
Rihanna, 26, and Drake, 27, had a little bit of a tiff recently because they haven’t been able to see each other much as of late — even during scheduled appearances. Drake was set to appear at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in LA on May 1 and bailed last-minute, having a guys’ night in NYC, and he totally missed it when RiRi accepted the award for Artist Of The Year! But this musical power couple is still going strong — Drake calls Rihanna “all the time” when they’re apart!
The reason that Drake and RiRi had a big fight is because Drake is currently putting work first, and while Rihanna gets that, it doesn’t mean that it’s not upsetting for her. However, Drake is just as enamored with her as she is with him!
“He sends texts, he’s staying in constant communication,” a source says. “He knows she wants that face time,” and Drake wants to give that to Rihanna and he’s going to, but he’s busy right now and “he’s got to handle that. There’s only a small window to seize all the offers and checks coming his way and right now, he’s taking advantage of that,” our source added.
“All he’s asking is for his babe to understand that and everything will be all gravy,” our insider finished.
If ever there was a woman who would understand when their significant other has to take care of business, it would be Rihanna. After all, she’s a strong, independent woman, and she’s got her own business to take care of, too! Every time you turn your head that girl is on a magazine cover.
However, it’s great to hear that Drake and Rihanna care so much about each other that they can get into little fights when they don’t see each other for a while. The fact that Drake stays in constant communication when they’re apart is a testament to the strength of their relationship.
