FULL TIME: LIVERPOOL 3 MANCHESTER CITY 2 What a superb game of football. Liverpool were thrilling in the first half, but Manchester City came back at them hard. A defensive blunder from Vincent Kompany handed it to the hosts and, on an emotional and exciting day, it was Liverpool who deserved it slightly more. They are now five points clear of Chelsea, who play Swansea in about half an hour.
Personally, I would wish to see Steven Gerrard lift the Premiership trophy.. That's coming from an ardent Man United fan, its to tell you how crazy and strong that wish is. He is just a loyal servant to his club, his country, Premiership and Football in general and indeed, he deserves a reward.
Congrats to Liverpool. The champions?
